An Experience within Itself

For the first time I decided to watch Scandal. I've heard several individuals converse about the TV show, so what greater time to watch something that everyone has been speaking on for my blog assignment.

This was difficult to follow with the sound off. I had no clue what was going on. From reading the facial expression it looked as if the lady with the white coat, Olivia Poke, was always sad. She appeared to have tears in her eyes and from what I gathered about her demeanor she was always in a rush. I noticed that they showed her, Olivia Poke, in almost every scene, that she must be the center of attention and many people go to her for there problems.

Later, watching with the sound off, I noticed that I was not very god at reading her expressions. Olivia Poke is an excellent actor. The tears in her eyes allowed people to know that she was sincere, but the words that came out of her mouth after she spoke was the total opposite. She was persistent on finding a solution to all the problems that occur.

For a show that I normally watch, I think I would have been able to predict what was going to happen or predict the characters actions because I see myself as knowing the character. I am able to pinpoint their mi-mo.

This same information is valuable for our children that we teach. We often say we have to get know the child first in order to teach them. The same thing with the show. We did not know the character so it was difficult to tell what was wrong or what was going on because this was someone we have not communicated or surrounded ourselves around. I wonder now how many children have been mislead guided because the interpretation was made by someone who does not know them.
