I have conducted a research that will benefit both the children and their families. The topic of this research is called: "The Curriculum"
The idea behind my research was to implement an academic plan that help parents and children deal with separation. Many children have a problem separating from their parents and many parents have a problem with separating from their children. This project was designed to build the comfort of the individuals that partake in the plan to eliminate the separation issues. In order for this process to work and be completely effective, the child and their parents/caregivers must complete a six week process. During the six weeks the child will learn, regardless of age, and take steps to help them feel comfort while being away from their parents. For the first 2 weeks the child will have to advantage of seeing and hearing their parents through a monitor that will help them to understand that they are close and have never left them. After the first 2 weeks, the monitor will go away and the child will have the opportunity to just hear their parents voice. Every 2 weeks something will leave as the child begins to adjust and feel comfortable about the caregiver they are with. The same techniques will occur for the parents who are having issues with leaving their children.
The positive outcome is allowing the child to learn how to socialize with others in a safe environment without being interrupted by the parents. It will also helps the parents when returning to work to feel safe while they are away. This process and technique is affordable for all individuals and will help to boost the education in the early childhood setting, and cause for more parent to enroll their children at an earlier age causing the field to stay in a working process.
